However, the four locations prepared by the developers contain unique, Alaska-inspired stories that the player can discover while exploring . Gameplay The essence of the gameplay in Gold Rush: The Game is the exploitation of gold-bearing plots in order to accumulate supplies of precious metal. We carry out this task ourselves : we carry the necessary equipment on the truck, steer the heavy machines from their cabins, and rinse the golden nuggets by carefully moving the cleaned material in a bowl of water . The collected gold can be taken to the city, where the blacksmith will melt it into bars. The default way of observing the environment is the immersive first - person mode , which allows us to precisely operate numerous devices (connecting cables, pressing switches, replacing fuel filters, etc.). The production of Iceflake studio and Paradox Interactive is the sequel to Surviving Mars, released in 2018, where we were able to build the first self-sufficient Martian colony.The action of the new title takes players from the Red Planet to Earth, which has been ravaged by an apocalyptic catastrophe. While playing Surviving the Aftermath, players come across a procedurally generated map consisting of six different biomes. The aim of the game is to construct and ensure the proper functioning of a colony of people who survived the global cataclysm.The safety of the settlement and the management of resources are among the aspects that should be taken into account during the game. Each of the environments available in the title has different conditions that affect the fun. Additionally, the colony may be haunted by natural disasters, the consequences of which the player has to deal with. In Surviving the Aftermath, the player also has the option to recruit specialists. These characters have unique abilities that help you manage your colony. In addition, specialists can go beyond the city walls to carry out research missions or fight the local bandits.
