Devil May Cry V is the next installment of the famous series of slashers from Capcom. The previous part, titled DMC: Devil May Cry from 2013, was created by the Ninja Theory team. Developers known, among others, are responsible for the "five". from the first installments of the series, including Hideaki Itsuno, responsible for the RPG Dragon's Dogma.  Story The game is a direct continuation of Devil May Cry 4. Devil May Cry V presents the further fate of Dante and Ner and a mysterious new hero called V, who fight demons and other monsters attacking our world. The action begins when an unnatural, gigantic tree appears in Red Grave City, whose roots shoot out from under the ground, sucking blood from the city's inhabitants. Devil May Cry V is based on the same principles as the previous parts. It is a slasher with an extensive combat system. The game has been divided into stages, after which the game gives us appropriate ratings. When designing the world, the creators drew inspiration from the game Dragon's Dogma. Although, of course, we are not dealing with a classic sandbox, the maps give a bit more freedom than before. As a result, the character's movement out of combat has been improved, and the exploration resembles that of the Bayonetta series (the hero is not limited by the stamina bar, however). Although the game does not lack spectacular scenes, they are not based on QTE sequences. The fight has also been improved, but there is no question of a revolution. The clashes are diversified by interactive elements of the environment, and from time to time we take part in large battles, evoking musou games, in which we fight many enemies at once. However, the most effective, demanding and complex meetings are with bosses - one encounter can be divided into several sequences taking place in separate scenes. The production of Devil May Cry V uses RE Engine technology, which drives Resident Evil VII and Resident Evil 2, for example. The title on all hardware platforms ensures smoothness at the level of 60 frames per second (on PC, performance of course depends on the computer's components). It is also worth mentioning that Yuji Shimomura, who worked on the third and fourth installments of the series, is responsible for the cutscenes. Onyay Pheori (she worked on Devil May Cry 4) helped with creating the sound layer. The role of Dante was reprized by Rueben Langdon, and Johnny Young Bosch was played by Nero. Story The action of the game is set in a corrupt, capitalist world, in which the title gremlins fight each other for money, political influence and prestige . Gameplay Gameplay at Gremlins, Inc. takes place on a specially prepared board, and players have an additional deck of 150 different cards at their disposal. The fun is about exterminating competitors by using your own unique strategy and preventing the actions of other players . During the game, we can obtain resources (or steal them from other participants of the game), take part in elections, give and receive bribes, play in the casino and set traps and frame our opponents in order to temporarily eliminate them from the game by putting them behind bars. The development of events in the game is a function of the locations visited, the cards owned by the players and a random element. The players have at their disposal 12 different characters (of course: gremlins), each of which is characterized by a specialization and a different style of gameplay. The available heroes include: trader, banker, collector, damned, engineer, manager, gambler, secret agent, beggar, bureaucrat, politician and thief. The game is relatively short and should last from 30 minutes to 1 hour .
