With its original Bauhaus design, the Kaiser Idell series is built around the world-patented swivel joint design (1930) as well as the very famous lamp shade that is the characteristic of the Kaiser Idell lamp. On top of the characteristic lamp top the engraving "ORIGINAL KAISER-idell" takes prime place. All Kaiser-Idell lamps are made of steel and brass while the shade are handcoated in glossy or matt paint. All the chromed parts of the lamp are made of handpolished and silver soldered brass. The Kaiser Idell lamp series consists of two different table lamps, two different floor lamps, a pendant and a wall light. All models are available in the colours black, matt black and white - some also in dark green and red. Christian Dell (1893-1974) designed the first lamps of the Kaiser-Idell series in 1926 and in 1936 they were manufactured and released.
