On land, however, we deal with adversities by choosing a stealth approach or engaging in open clashes (depending on preferences). If we choose a silent solution, we can take advantage of the benefits provided by Leonidas' spearhead - an ancient artifact that replaces the hidden blade known from the previous installments of the cycle. This weapon also grants Alexios and Kassandra special abilities such as powerful attacks and a flash of blinding nearby enemies. They are useful during close quarters duels, during which we make use of various types of melee weapons; we can also shoot a bow.
