The Sims 4 is another installment in the series of virtual life simulators popular all over the world. As in the previous installments of the series, the American studio Maxis is responsible for its production. The first The Sims was released in 2000. The whole gameplay begins with creating your Sims. In The Sims 4, it was decided to remodel the character creation system. This time, the face modification system was expanded - the sliders that change a given element were replaced with mouse movements, at the same time increasing the range of changes. The ability to edit the entire silhouette of the character has also been added. In turn, the ability to freely customize hair and clothing colors has been removed, returning to the sets predefined by the creators. The character of the Sim is also of great importance. Players choose a few of the dozens of available personality traits, as well as the hero's long-term goals. They have an impact on the later behavior of the characters and are part of the improved artificial intelligence system introduced to the game. Thanks to it, Sims behave more naturally and react to the situations around them in a much more varied way. The emotions felt by virtual heroes are also a novelty. They are influenced not only by the currently satisfied or not needs or social interactions, but also by used household appliances or clothes worn. Experiencing specific emotions will unlock for us, among others new dialogue options. After creating Sims, the player must bring them home. He can leave it in the form prepared by the creators or completely redo it. The production offers an extensive tool that allows you to build and furnish your own apartments. Compared to the previous parts, the constructor interface has been improved. Among other things, ready-made rooms have been introduced that can be set up with one click. The Sims 4 also introduces the so-called A "gallery" that allows you to share created houses and characters with other players.
