The computer version was developed by Auroch Digital studio, i.e. the authors of, among others Chainsaw Warrior and Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night , also an adaptation of table games. Story The action takes place in the near, post-apocalyptic future of 2023. As a result of the global cataclysm, human civilization was almost completely destroyed, and what began to grow on its ruins resembles the Wild West. The rich hide in fenced and closely guarded private housing estates, patrolled by armed law enforcement forces. But the majority of the surviving population cannot afford such luxuries, so people have to cope with decaying remnants of cities with a deadly threat around every corner. Players take on the role of commanders of the units known as Sanctioned Ops, which patrol crumbling roads and highways, hunting for renegades living outside the law. Dark Future: Blood Red States offers an extensive story campaign and multiplayer gameplay Gameplay While playing, we mainly take part in chases on highways and city roads, chasing vehicles driven by members of various gangs. The cars have solid armor and weapons, moreover, we have a wide range of modification options for each model. The game is played in a turn-based system. Both sides give orders simultaneously and then passively watch as their commands are carried out in a few seconds of real-time action. This solution makes it necessary to anticipate the opponent's movements, not just react to them. While driving, we can not only give orders to move or attack, but also initiate a number of dangerous maneuvers, the successful execution of which can tip the scales of victory on our side.

The action takes place in New York of the future, where, thanks to a mysterious portal, a passage to another dimension opens, bringing a whole lot of terrifying creatures to Earth. The player takes on the role of an elite commando who, armed with a powerful chainsaw, tries to find and destroy the portal hidden in the city, and thus stop the invasion of all filth.When we start playing, we create our own hero and equip him with the necessary equipment. During the game, we move around the New York area, revealing event cards and taking actions appropriate to the situation, the result of which is largely based on the result of dice rolls. The development of events is completely random, and subsequent cards may contain both useful items and dangerous traps or monsters that we will have to face. Our main rival, however, is the passing time, as we only have an hour to destroy the portal.Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night features three completely new locations where we face previously unknown dark enemies and unique mini-bosses. The player has a lot of new weapons, improvements and useful equipment at his disposal. The combat system has also undergone some improvements, which is now even more challenging than in the original. The whole setting is similar to the first installment of the game and faithfully reflects the atmosphere and graphic design of the original board game.
